I created this background with an acrylic pour. I then painted the woman's profile, who appears to be in deep thought.  I love how this turned out with the play of negative and positive space, foreground and background.

Magical realism, beauty and love of color, my work evokes pride in black culture and the spirit of femininity.  Drawing inspiration from art history and challenging the societal perceptions and stereotypes of Black femininity and beauty, I depict women of color as Mother Goddess, grand, graceful, and beautiful. My work seeks to reappropriate the Black female image and what it means to be a woman of color.

This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
