This painting was created using multiple layers of acrylic paint and rubbing alcohol, each layer revealing the layer below. The multiple layers representing a commentary on the various layers and parts of a person's personality and life experiences. I drew the portrait directly on the canvas using graphite powder and graphite pencils. A layer of matte medium was painted on top to protect the graphite from smudging and to lessen the reflective quality of the graphite.

Your space should reflect who you are and what you care about. Adding a pop of color to your walls is an easy way to inject some personality into any room and put a smile on your face.
