From Boxy to Blossoming: Utility Box Glow-Up in Hanover!"

This summer, I’ve been painting the town—literally! I’m excited to share that one of the two utility boxes I’ve been working on in Hanover is now complete. Located at the corner of Webster Street and Main Street, this vibrant box is wrapped in bold florals and organic shapes inspired by nature and community growth. The bright blue background, accented with deep navy and golden yellow, reflects the town colors of Hanover, grounding the artwork in a sense of local identity.
The second utility box is next in line and will be painted over the coming weeks—weather permitting—at the intersection of Main Street and Whiting Street. If you’re in the area, feel free to swing by, say hello, and catch a glimpse of the creative process in action. I love chatting with community members while I work, and it’s always a joy to see people smile as they drive or walk by.
This project made possible by Hanover Pride and a grant from Hanover Cultural Council has been such a rewarding way to contribute to public art in Hanover. I believe in the power of art to spark joy, encourage connection, and transform the everyday into something a little more magical. From Boxy to Blossoming: Utility Box Glow-Up in Hanover!"
Drive by Webster & Main to check out the finished box, and come visit me while I work on the next one at Main & Whiting!
